As a guy who watched that reddit thread live (it was at least a year ago now, can't remember, don't really want to) I can guarantee that that poor kid got told. /r/mlp can be pretty silly at times, but they know when to cut the bullshit and tell someone, "You fucked up, dude."

Well, the owner of my local (fiercely independent) art-deco cinema is nothing if not extremely eccentric, and the thought of being the only cinema in the whole country to show this thing might appeal to him. It would be hilarious, and he’s been on friendly terms with me since I put a parody of him in a strip cartoon in my local paper. I think I’ll write him now.
